Domaine La Grangette, Domaine La Madeleine Saint Jean, Domaine La Croix Belle, Domaine les Chemins De Bassac & Didier Bourrel are all privately owned Vineyards in the Languedoc area of the South of France.
We are proud to represent them in the UK along with a growing list of other superb vineyards through our UK importer "Tastebuds Wines" who are also based in Norwich like ourselves. Tastebuds owners Steve & Christine along with their panel of wine tasters go to great lengths sourcing and tasting before they will endorse and import new wines, This ensures that you our customer should be as impressed as we are with these specially selected wines "DIRECT FROM THE VINEYARD".
A new, exciting and affordable range from Alsace will go on sale in November along with the eagerly awaited wines from Domaine de Familongue, these wines are well worth the wait.

This is an extremly elegant wine, which combines delicate peach, apricot and flowers and a hint of smoky notes from the oak. A delightfully dry taste is revealed with balanced acidity and a hint of lemon and Slight mineral overtones.

GEWURZTRAMINER the classic white wine of Alsace. It is a very clear wine with a subtle yellow tint with delightfull floral aromas combined with a hint of violets. This example has a pronounced taste of spice & honey with soft pears and melon finishing with an off dry aftertaste. Just fantastic with oriental dishes.

In colour this wine is velvety red, the aroma's are full of vanilla and spice with descrete wood, cobined with blackcurrant, cherry and a hint of pepper. In taste this wine starts of very rounded, has an excellent balance of spice, vanilla, cherry and a speck of liquorice hiding in the background. The balance of the tannins show the exceptional quality of this wine.... the finish is long and smooth.

A colour of intense ruby red paler at the edges. The pepper bouquet has soft fruit to embellish this wonderful bouquet. The wine has a little residual sugar on the taste but it is overshadowed with positive fruity flavours. Well balanced with vanilla overtones.
