Domaine La Grangette, Domaine La Madeleine Saint Jean, Domaine La Croix Belle, Domaine les Chemins De Bassac & Didier Bourrel are all privately owned Vineyards in the Languedoc area of the South of France.
We are proud to represent them in the UK along with a growing list of other superb vineyards through our UK importer "Tastebuds Wines" who are also based in Norwich like ourselves. Tastebuds owners Steve & Christine along with their panel of wine tasters go to great lengths sourcing and tasting before they will endorse and import new wines, This ensures that you our customer should be as impressed as we are with these specially selected wines "DIRECT FROM THE VINEYARD".
A new, exciting and affordable range from Alsace will go on sale in November along with the eagerly awaited wines from Domaine de Familongue, these wines are well worth the wait.

Slightly lower in alcohol than many wines with a clear and slightly yellow colour. The bouquet is slightly aromatic with refreshing and delicate fruit flavours with the hint of very mild spice. Great as an aperitif and goes rearly well with sea food and fish. Another one of those different wines from Alsace which is well worth putting in a mixed case to try.

This wine has a very bright clear yellow hue but appears wonderfully pale in the glass. Faint gooseberry can be found on the bouquet which is backed up later with a little cedarwood in the finish. The dry balanced acidity is light and gooseberry and lemon can be found in the aftertaste where a little residual sugar can be found on the tip of the tongue.

This very pale yellow Chardonnay shows none of the normal characteristics of this grape variety. However the aromas are very much Chardonnay from this region. Not as powerful as the Burgundy wines but honey, buttery cream and spice do come through in the bouquet. This is an excellent soft wine in which you can still taste the honey and spice which gives a wonderfull lingering aftertaste.

This delightfull wine is wonderfully clear with a slight golden hue. Exotic fruit explodes onto the nose which carries through to the pallet to give an elegant and exciting finish. Not as dry as many French whites which makes this such an astonishing wine.

This wine is a pale yellow but with a density all of its own. As you would expect from a Viognier the apricot and peaches are well represented in the aromas, additionally a little spice and wood can be found. The smoothness in the mouth is quite outstanding and as such one would expect to put a high price on this outstanding example of this wine. SIMPLY STUNNING. Our best selling white wine for Christmas 2007. ...
